The well-known ZINNIA, a brilliant plant for the border with beautifully formed flowers on long stems, splendid for cutting. We love them and so here you will find a large range of all different types and colours. Just sow them where they are to flower (they like a sunny, sheltered position and don’t like to be moved) from the end of April to the end of May when the soil is warming up. Apart from keeping the weeds at bay, just let nature do the rest. If you feel you have to thin out, be careful not to disturb the roots of the plants you are retaining. And in a few short weeks you’ll be able to sit back and admire the colourful results of your hard labours!

Germination Instructions

• Direct sow where they are to flower Apr-May.

• Sow 3mm deep in drills 30cm apart into well prepared soil that has been raked to a fine tilth.

• Water regularly.

• Germination takes 7-14 days.

• When large enough to handle thin to 25cm spacing.

• When large enough to handle transplant and grow on in cooler conditions.
